Using a Photoshop, transform a photo into a Warhol look-a-like.
Step 1: Open the photo of your pretty face in Photoshop.
Step 2: Convert the photo to B&W. Increase the contrast a lot.
Step 3: Crop if needed and erase any shadows in the background.
Step 4: Select FILTER CUT OUT. You can zoom out to see entire image, adjust sliders as desired.
Step 5: Increase the contrast again.
Step 6: Before you start coloring, add a NEW, BLANK LAYER (Shift + Ctrl + N).
Step 7: Use the brush tool to add color to the blank layer NOT on your photo layer – I recommend you start by coloring the background, then add a new layer for the hair, another layer for the face, and another new layer for the clothing.
Step 8: After coloring on a layer, change the blending mode to MULTIPLY.
Step 9: Flatten the image. LAYER FLATTEN IMAGE.
Step 10: Open a NEW, blank canvas. FILE NEW. Make it 8”X 10” and 150 PPI.
Step 11: In your colored photo file, SELECT ALL (Ctrl A), COPY (Ctrl C).
Step 12: In your NEW file, PASTE (Ctrl V). Use the MOVE tool to put your pasted image in one corner. Use Ctrl T to resize if needed. Be sure to hold Shift while resizing, so you don’t distort the scale.
Step 13: In your colored photo file, choose IMAGE ADJUSTMENTS HUE/SATURATION. Slide the colored slider bar to make another color variation of your photo. When you are happy with the colors, click OK.
Step 14: In your colored photo file, SELECT ALL (Ctrl A), COPY (Ctrl C).
Step 15: In your NEW file, PASTE (Ctrl V). Use the MOVE tool to put your pasted image in one corner.
Step 16: Continue to repeat and fill in your NEW file with 4 or more colored variations.
Step 17: Use the crop tool if needed to eliminate any blank areas of the page.
Step 18: When you are all done, flatten the image and save your work as a firstandlastname.jpg.
Step 19: Upload to drop in folder.
